Description: Product introduction MP Forte Tablet is a combination of two medicines. It is used in the treatment of fever. It is also useful for the treatment of mild to moderate pain of various conditions like headache, body ache, and toothache. MP Forte Tablet is to be taken with food. This will prevent you from getting an upset stomach. The dose will depend on what you are taking it for and how well it helps your symptoms. You should take it as advised by your doctor. Do not take more or use it for a longer duration than recommended by the doctor. The most common side effects of this medicine include nausea, vomiting, diarrhea, indigestion, loss of appetite, and heartburn. If any of these side effects bother you or get worse, you should speak to your doctor. Your doctor may be able to suggest ways of preventing or reducing the side effects. Before taking it, you should let your doctor know if you have a history of ulcer or bleeding in your stomach, high blood pressure, or have any trouble with your heart, kidneys, or liver. Breast feeding Status: SAFE IF PRESCRIBED Description: MP Forte Tablet is safe to use during breastfeeding. Human studies suggest that the drug does not pass into the breastmilk in a significant amount and is not harmful to the baby. 4. Driving Status: UNSAFE Description: MP Forte Tablet may decrease alertness, affect your vision or make you feel sleepy and dizzy. Do not drive if these symptoms occur. 5. Kidney Status: CAUTION Description: MP Forte Tablet should be used with caution in patients with kidney disease. Dose adjustment of MP Forte Tablet may be needed. Please consult your doctor. Use of MP Forte Tablet is not recommended in patients with severe kidney disease. 6. Liver Status: CAUTION Description: MP Forte Tablet should be used with caution in patients with liver disease. Dose adjustment of MP Forte Tablet may be needed. Please consult your doctor. However, the use of MP Forte Tablet is not recommended in patients with severe liver disease and active liver disease.

- How MP Tablet works CONTENT: MP Forte Tablet is a combination of two medicines: Mefenamic Acid and Paracetamol. It works by blocking the release of certain chemical messengers that cause fever, pain and inflammation (redness and swelling).

However, in some patients it may cause some unwanted common side effects like nausea, vomiting, stomach pain, heartburn, diarrhea and other uncommon and rare side effects. Inform your doctor if you experience any persistent problem due to the medication. Q2: Are there any specific contraindications associated with the use of MP Forte Tablet? A2: The use of MP Forte Tablet is considered to be harmful for patients with known allergy to any of the components or excipients of this medicine or in patients with known allergy to other painkillers (NSAIDs). The use of this medicine should preferably be avoided in patients with a history of stomach ulcer or in patients with active, recurrent stomach ulcer/bleeding. It should also be avoided in patients with a history of liver or kidney disease. Q3: Can I take MP Forte Tablet with vitamin B-complex? A3: Yes, MP Forte Tablet can be taken with Vitamin B-complex preparations. While MP Forte Tablet helps to relieve pain, Vitamin B-complex can help correct the vitamin deficiency that might be causing the underlying painful condition. Q4: Can the use of MP Forte Tablet cause damage to kidneys? A4: Yes, the long-term use of MP Forte Tablet can cause damage to the kidneys. Normal kidneys produce a chemical called prostaglandins that protect the kidneys from damage. Use of painkillers lower the levels of prostaglandins in the body which leads to kidney damage on long-term use. Use of painkillers is not recommended to patients with underlying kidney disease. Q5: Is it safe to take a higher than the recommended dose of MP Forte Tablet? A5: No, taking a higher than the recommended dose of MP Forte Tablet can increase the risks of side effects like nausea, vomiting, heartburn, indigestion, diarrhea and can also damage the kidneys on long-term use. If you are experiencing increased severity of pain or the pain is not relieved by the recommended doses, please consult your doctor for re-evaluation.
